Sun Valley Rentals By Owner, LLC is operated by the team of Grey Schuhmacher and his local sales & support staff. Grey has a dual BSBA degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management and Marketing, as well as 7 years in hotel and property management. Grey's hands on experience in launching and operating the Steamboat, Jackson, & Sun Valley markets is a real asset to the team.

The founder, Larry Hoffer, started his career in the hotel business in Vail in 1981 - and then spent most of his career in senior level marketing positions in the telecommunications industry before launching Rentals By Owner in 2002 with the Vail market. Over the past few years our team has expanded to Beaver Creek, Aspen, Snowmass, Breckenridge, Steamboat, Telluride, Park City, Deer Valley, Jackson Hole, Sun Valley, and Lake Tahoe - representing nearly a thousand homes.

We recognized the vacation home owners’ needs and guests needs weren't being met through traditional property management companies and have come up with a great solution for all.
